Raleigh, NC - ACC Tournament 2002

March 8-14, 2002
On our trek from the 'Nati to Key Largo we planned on catching all of the ACC tourney in Raleigh.  We blew out of town at the last minute 2:30am Thursday night/Friday morning with just enough time to make it for the 12:00pm game.  Or so we thought.  Packed to the gills we blew the engine in the Bus 55 miles outside of Raleigh and waited on a tow truck for three hours.  We made it to ACC Tourney Headquarters at the Smoothie Brothers Estate midway thru the Wolfpack's first game Friday afternoon.    It was worth it, they beat Virginia, again!    The Pack went on to beat Maryland and eventually lose to Duke in the final game.  The tourney was a blast and great to be around old friends.  Now comes the work.  Mike and I found an engine Monday AM and he had the old one out and the new one rebuilt by Wed. pm.  Thanks to the Smoothie  Bros. and their Dad for the extra hands and the Farm to spread out and get to work.  It was the ideal place to work on an un-ideal situation.  Thanks again Guys!!
